LAYERING YOUR SKINCARE PRODUCTS PROPERLY
We’ve all experienced the enjoyment that accompanies the acquisition of a new skincare product, or the introduction of a new step to your skincare routine. Let’s face it, new can be exciting. And as a result, we often end up with a more complicated skincare routine, and way (way!) more steps than we originally anticipated. While I often advocate that simple skincare leads to success, that doesn’t mean you need to cut all your favorite parts of your routine out. Creating a great routine tailored to your own personal needs is the first step in taking great care of your skin. So if you’re going to layer multiple products throughout your routine, it’s important that your making the most out of the products you’re investing in. Using them in the proper order will allow you to get the maximum benefit and absorption out of each step!

Pro tip: Wait about 30 seconds between each product application. Waiting a short period of time is helpful in allowing the product to penetrate or absorb a bit before you layer another.
